What are cassette roller blinds?

A cassette will fully enclose the roll of fabric at the top of the blind, not only hiding it from view but also adding some additional visual flair to your roller blind, with matching fabric decorating the front of the cassette for a stylish coordinated look. Different types of roller blinds

  • Traditional Roller Blinds - A traditional Roller Blind is comprised of a single sheet of fabric that’s easy to operate and incredibly versatile.
  • Double Roller Blinds - Double Roller Blinds feature two blinds – one blackout and one voile - on a singular fitting for improved light control and privacy at your window.
  • Enjoy Roller Blinds - Enjoy Roller Blinds, also known as Zebra Blinds, feature alternating strips of opaque and sheer fabric that can be lined up in different ways to control the light.
  • Illusion Roller Blinds - Illusion Roller Blinds have two layers of sheer fabric that are joined together by opaque horizontal fabric slats, which ‘tilt’ as you roll the blind, allowing you to use it as a voile during the day or close it off for night-time privacy.

Can I layer roller blinds with curtains?

Roller blinds are sleek and slimline and fit neatly inside a recess, so they’re ideal for fitting behind curtains to maximise your shading and privacy, not to mention style. Whether you’re looking to contrast a plain with a patterned curtain or you’re choosing a minimalist style, they’re capable of creating a beautiful focal point in bay windows, tall windows and more.
