What is a Pergola?

A Pergola is an outdoor garden feature that combines robust, vertical posts with cross beams at the top, usually made from wood and timber or metal. Typically used to create an outdoor dining area or cosy living space in patios, gardens, and even hot tub corners, they can be decorated with lights, trailing plants, plus more to bring a focal point to your space. Our Pergolas are made from aluminium, blending weather resistance and beautiful style effortlessly.

Is My Garden Suitable for a Pergola?

Our Pergola is suitable for most gardens, and there are only a couple of considerations to take into account. First, make sure you have enough space for the 3x3m Pergola in your patio or garden area by using a metal tape measure. Secondly, to hold the Pergola in place, concrete foundations are required, ensuring the frame's stability even during turbulent weather.* *When installed correctly, our Pergolas can handle up to 63-89mph winds (Category 10 Gale).

Are Pergolas Weather Resistant?

Our Pergolas are incredibly weather resistant and can be used all year round. They can handle up to 89–102 km/h winds, plus, as they’re made from a powder coated aluminium frame, they offer rust-free maintenance. With a water drainage system that allows even heavy rainfall to drain away through gutter channels in the legs, you won’t have to worry about wiping down the top of the Pergola either after use.
